Le Bush
Welcome to week four-ish of me growing my hair out for Locks of Love (among other reasons)! If you’re just now tuning in, you might want to go back here and then here to get all caught up, otherwise this post just won’t mean as much to you.
I’m happy to report that…wait for it…I have noticeable hair growth! Can I get a ‘hallelujah?!’
I’ve been faithfully taking the horse pills that make my pee florescent my prenatal vitamins. I’ve also tried to avoid washing my hair more than twice a week, letting the natural oils do their work (whatever that may be). I apologize for the late night self-portrait, reminiscent of There’s Something About Mary…but I thought it really highlighted my progress.
Check it out from this angle. What a bush!
It’s starting to grow over my ears, which drives me mad, and I’ve been missing my super short pixie cut like crazy. HOWEVER, thanks to all of you and your encouragement and faith, I’m staying strong. Whenever I grow weak and whiny and almost cave, my loving husband simply says, “Do it for the blog.” I’m doing it! Let’s do this! Fist bump.
XO, Tobi

I am loving your pouff! I’m getting a Janelle Monae vibe…I say, work it!
Oh. very nice! I like this comparison…way better than Jim Carey or There’s Something About Mary
Thank you! xo
I love it! And, I remember that stage too, I kept tucking whatever hair I could behind my ears.
Exactly! That’s what I’ve been doing! It makes me crazy!
What I hated even more than that is because my hair is curly if it got too long on my neck it would start to curl up!
That would be annoying! Mine is a little wavy but it doesn’t get bad until it’s a little longer.
Think you have the “Jim Carey” thing going there…Keep up the good work..You may want to think of “extentions” until THE DAY!!!!
It is a little Jim Carey! Haha! Thanks for pointing that out
Extensions would be nice, but unfortunately, they are way out of my budget. Maybe a nice Halloween wig would be more my rate
How cool…”Do it for the blog”…ahahha…no kidding! We’re with ya and I think It really looks great. Hang in there!
{fist bump back at ya}

Thanks D! anything for the blog, right?!
YAY Hair!! Vitamins do the craziest things don’t they? Whenever I take them I only get little tiny hairs sticking out at the top of my forehead. Really attractive! Glad they are working for you!
That’s crazy! I haven’t experienced that (thankfully) but I feel like my eyebrows are growing in full force.
Looking good! Those vitamins are like magic.
Thanks, Rian! They are magic vitamins! BTW, well done on finishing your Spartan race
That is AWESOME!
I think it looks rather snazzy, Tobi! It’s amazing how fast hair can grow.
Why, thank you Jess! It seems to be growing faster now, but I’m sure I won’t be able to tell a difference for a while now!
I love it!!! I think it’s the new style
I love that it just stays up like that, wish I could do something fun like that to my hair!
It helps if you don’t wash it!!
You are entertaining my dear!!
Oh, well good! I think.
I think this is fierce! Bold and beautiful. Nicely done. I too am using my natural oils to clean my hair (so nice to say that without having to quickly add- but I am clean!) so was very pleased to read about it. Not many women could pull off such a short do. Fab. I likes you’re blog. I follow, yes? OK! Bye. x
Yay! I’m glad you came by and decided to stay! Xoxo
